We are pleased to announce that Sanjay Singh, currently Deputy CEO BNP Paribas India and Head of Global Markets India, has been appointed CEO BNP Paribas India, effective 1 September, subject to regulatory approval.
Sanjay will succeed Aymar de Liedekerke Beaufort, who has been named Head of Territory, India, in addition to his role as Head of CIB. This will also take effect on 1 September.
Sanjay joined BNP Paribas Securities India in 2013 and later, as its CEO, led its transformation into an integrated player with widely expanded offerings. In 2018, he became Head of Global Markets India. Sanjay has had a 25 year career across financial institutions including Credit Suisse, Crédit Lyonnais and UTI.
We will communicate on our new Head of Global Markets India in the coming weeks.
