The initial panic was fueled by escalating geopolitical tensions in West Asia and a spike in Brent crude prices. At close, the Sensex was up 185.23 points or 0.25% at 73,319.55, and the Nifty was up 33.70 points or 0.15% at 22,713.10.

Rupee Update

Rupee ended at 93.10/$ Vs March 30, close of 94.83/$.
