Indian indices
The benchmark indices ended lower on June 19, 2026, as heavy selling in IT stocks dragged the indices down. The decline was mainly triggered by a weak outlook from global IT major Accenture, along with worries over US interest rates and global tech weakness. At the end, Sensex fell by 0.64% or 607.08 points to 76,802.90. The Nifty declined by 0.78% or 154.90 points to 24,013.10.
