Indian indices
Indian equities scaled fresh record highs on last trading day of the week on July 26. All the sectors ended in green. The BSE Midcap index rose 2.12% and Smallcap index up 1%. The Sensex rose by 1.62% or 1,292.92 points to 81,332.72. The Nifty gained 1.76% or 428.75 points to 24,834.85.
Rupee ended at record closing low of 83.73/$.

- Shriram Finance advanced 9.14% to Rs. 2,925.30, after company reported 18.2% YoY surge in net profit at Rs. 1,981 crores for Q1FY24.
- Motilal Oswal Financial Services increased by 2.13% to Rs. 590.45, after its net profit rose by 67.9% YoY to Rs. 883.6 crore for the quarter ended Q1FY25.
