Indian indices
The benchmark indices snapped a six-day rally and ended lower on October 24, 2025, after India-US trade deal Uncertainty kept sentiment subdued. On the sectoral front, metal index up 1%, while FMCG, PSU Bank, pharma, private bank, IT, consumer durable down 0.5-1%. BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices were flat. At close, the Sensex was down 344.52 points or 0.41% at 84,211.88, and the Nifty was down 96.25 points or 0.37% at 25,795.15.

Rupee ended at 87.85/$ against October 23, 2025, close of 87.84/$.
