Campaign related terms and other details

  1. The Sona Chandi contest will be for a period of six months starting July 01, 2020.
  2. On meeting the eligibility criteria (as mentioned in the launch mailer), contest qualification criteria will be as follows:

    Category 1 qualification criteria: Lump sum

    1. Branch Network (Relationship Manager [RM] and Customer Relationship Executive [CRE] channels): The top eligible achievers role-wise will be restricted as per the count in the target table on the basis of the highest target achievement of the Gross Equalized Sales Lump Sum.
    2. Investment Solutions (Investment Specialists [IS] and Mutual Fund Specialists [MFS] channels): The top eligible achievers role-wise will be restricted as per the count in the target table on the basis of the highest target achievement of the Net Equalized Sales Lump Sum.

    Category 2 qualification criteria: Systematic Investment Plan (SIP)

    1. All roles except Sales Team Leaders (TLs) and Regional Sales Managers (RSMs): The top eligible achievers role-wise will be eligible as per the count in the target table on the basis of the highest target achievement of Incremental SIP flow subject to an achievement of at least 50% and contest criteria.
    2. RSMs and Sales TLs: They will be eligible for the contest and achievement criteria will be based on the value of the New SIPs Sold during the contest period subject to a minimum achievement of 50% of the New SIP Target. The top achievers role-wise will be eligible as per the count above on the basis of the highest target achievement of the New SIP.
  3. Prizes can be won in either or both categories based on the target achievement. For example, an individual can qualify under category 1 or category 2 or both categories based on the target achievement of each category.
  4. Individual roles will be assessed on the basis of the key performance indicators whereas team roles will be assessed on the basis of team targets.
  5. Scheme credit will be given as per the equalisation credit communicated during the contest period.
  6. No separate business reporting through a SurveyMonkey link is required for the purpose of this contest.
  7. Gross and Net Equalised Sales and incremental SIP flow for the purpose of contest criteria eligibility will be calculated on the basis of clients mapped to each RM and CRE in Xperia DPMS mapping for a particular month. This will include 100% credit of business done by the ISs and MFSs from those clients. Similarly Net Equalised Sales and incremental SIP flow by the ISs and MFSs will be calculated on the basis of the clients mapped to each IS and MFS in Xperia ToDo mapping for a particular month and shall include 100% credit of business done by RMs/CREs on those customers.
  8. New clients sourced during the contest period can be mapped and sales sourced through these clients will be considered for Gross and Net Sales contributions.
  9. Equalisation for the Net Sales credit will apply to the inflows (purchases, switch-ins and AUM transfer-ins via broker code changes) as well as the outflows (ie redemptions, switch-outs and AUM transfer-ins via broker code changes).
  10. Flexi-SIPs will be considered as part of the lump sum transactions.
  11. Please note that off-market transfers of mutual fund units for the purpose of margin funding under demat accounts will not affect the inflows or outflows. Similarly, mutual fund units released from margin funding but still invested in mutual funds under Sharekhan ARN shall not affect the inflows or outflows.
  12. All participating staff will continue to earn incentives as per their eligibility for the Incentive Policy announced on January 01, 2020 for each role.
  13. Gold and silver prices are indicative and may vary in future due to market fluctuations. The stated weight of gold and silver is based on the prices as on 01.07.2020. If there is a significant deviation in the prices of gold and silver, the management reserves the right to change the grammage offered as reward in order to be in line with the contest budget.
  14. All rewards will be subject to the decisions of the management of the company.
