June 15, 2023 All staff in your team who joined on or before December 31, 2022 are eligible for block leave of at least ten consecutive working days to be taken before December 31, 2023. They must discuss with you, finalise and enter their block leave dates on ShareKonnect by June 23, 2023. Given that two quarters of 2023 has already passed, it is now your responsibility to ensure that at least 50% of your team members avail of block leave by the end of the third quarter, ie by the end of September 2023, so that a large section of the staff does not go on block leave in the last quarter of the year (October, November and December of 2023), thereby avoiding putting undue pressure on their colleagues. The responsibility to comply with the Block Leave Policy of Sharekhan lies as much with the line managers as with their team members. As a line manager, you can help implement the Block Leave Policy by doing the following:
