April 11, 2022 Employees are the true assets of any organisation and we at Sharekhan truly value each one of them. While we would love Sherus to continue their employment with us and pursue the partnership with Sharekhan for as long as possible, we do realise that sometimes due to various reasons, some of us also need to part ways with the organisation. Such instances, though bitter-sweet, are a part and parcel of an employee’s journey and we at Sharekhan always strive to make it a smooth experience for all involved. One of the important processes which helps in this and is applicable to all employees during their exit is the serving of the notice period (applicable to them as per company policy). A notice period is a professional requirement and is the amount of time an employee has to give the company before leaving his/her job. It varies according to the employee’s position, level of seniority and criticality of the role in the organisation, and is not waivable, nor can it be reduced. This is an important duration wherein the employee must delegate his/her tasks and provide a smooth handover to the concerned stakeholders. It also allows the employer adequate time to find a replacement and prepare for the employee’s departure. Keeping the above in mind, please find below the notice period in Sharekhan as per staff band and grade* for your reference. Notice period as per staff band and grade
*Note: Any specific agreement on notice period with an individual staff will supersede the general grade-wise notice period policy, which is as follows: 90 days for grades M3 and above; 30 days for grades M2 and below; and 15 days for contract staff. Important points to note about the notice period policy
If you have any question, please write to us at hr@sharekhan.com. Best regards, Rajesh Shetty |
