Do’s
- Sharekhan is a mutual funds distributor and we offer funds to clients as an investment choice
- Hence it is important that you reach out to ALL clients mapped to you.
- Share the Scheme Information Document (SID) and Key Information Memorandum (KIM) with your client. You will find these documents on the respective AMC websites.
- Along with return information, remember to share risk-related information with your clients along with information on the exit load and expenses.
- For BNP Paribas funds, ensure that you highlight the Sharekhan and BNP Paribas MF group entity status to comply with the disclosure requirements.
- Ensure that commission structure for the fund is included as part of the disclosures to clients MF Commission Disclosure Document
Dont’s
- Do not misrepresent or exaggerate return expectations.
- Do not share any collateral or information that is not vetted by the Product team
- Avoid churning of investments unless you are aligning to the approved schemes chosen by the client. Even then, share the tax implications and exit loads that may be incurred by the client.
- Do not share any fund related communication to clients without attaching this disclaimer.
