Mr. Moon Kyung Kang

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Moon Kyung Kang has over 25 years of experience in the finance industry, including 12 years in the Vietnam market since 2007.

He was the pioneer who laid the foundation for Mirae Asset Securities (MAS) in Vietnam and quickly led MAS to become the largest foreign-owned securities company by market share in the country (Top 4 in 2023, according to HOSE).

He has successfully developed and overseen similar business models in major financial hubs like South Korea, while also establishing operational offices in Brazil and Los Angeles.

Guided by the philosophy of "Client First," Mr. Kang has consistently promoted the diversification of securities services, continuous technological innovation, and investment in local talent to best serve clients.
Dr. Ryan Sungkyu Kim

Chief Financial Officer

Dr. Ryan Sungkyu Kim is the Chief Financial Officer and one of the Board of Directors of Mirae Asset Capital Markets (India) Private Limited (MACM).

He has a decade of experience in finance across investment, business strategy, financial control, and audit.

Prior to joining MACM, he worked in the Global Business Strategy Division at Mirae Asset Securities in Seoul, Korea, the headquarters of the Indian entity, and was a fund/asset manager at Mirae Asset Global Investments.

He also worked at Mirae Asset Consulting, as well as Hotel Shilla Co., Ltd., a part of the Samsung Group's affiliates.

He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a specialty in Finance and Business.
Mr. Mehul Vora

Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Mehul Vora brings over 26 years of experience across capital markets, stock broking, and enterprise technology, with deep expertise in digital transformation and platform modernization.

His professional journey includes 12 years with Mirae Asset Sharekhan, followed by a successful entrepreneurial venture, before rejoining the organization in 2019.

In his current role, he leads the design and scaling of end-to-end customer journeys while driving the modernization of enterprise platforms through API-led and event-driven architectures. His expertise spans mission-critical systems across onboarding, MarTech, TradeTech, RegTech, AuditTech and customer information platforms.

He works closely with business, risk, compliance, and operations teams to deliver secure, scalable, impactful solutions. He has been recognized for leading innovation initiatives and hackathons at Mirae Asset Sharekhan and was honored at the Digital Transformation Confex & Awards 2023 for his contributions to digital transformation and technology excellence.
Mr. V. Robinson Francis

Chief Audit Officer

Mr. V. Robinson Francis wears the dual hats of Chief Audit Officer for both Mirae Asset Sharekhan and Mirae Asset Capital Markets.

Immediately after joining MACM in Dec 2018, Mr. Robinson took charge of nearly all non-business functions, such as Finance, Compliance (Risk, Legal, Regulatory), IT, Admin, and HR.

At Mirae Asset Sharekhan, he is responsible for functions such as Audit, Inspection, and Controls.

Mr. Robinson actively drives process automation and future-focused task simplification for business acceleration. He frequently supports business teams and facilitates strategic collaborations, leveraging his 25+ years of industry expertise and vast network.

He specializes in Mutual Funds, PMS, AIFs, and Institutional Broking. He has an MFM from NMIMS, an MCom from University of Mumbai, and a DBM in Finance from Welingkar Institute.
Mr. Ritesh Patel

Chief Risk Officer

Mr. Ritesh Patel is Board Director and Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Mirae Asset Sharekhan since January 2025, overseeing Risk Management, Compliance, Legal, and Secretarial functions across the Company and Group. He manages Stock Broking; PMS; DP Compliances; and distribution of MF, insurance, AIFs, and more.

He has 23 years of experience in financial services across Compliance, Risk Management, Surveillance, Legal, and Secretarial. Before joining Mirae Asset Sharekhan, he served at Mirae Asset Mutual Fund as Associate Director & Head – Compliance, Legal & Secretarial since 2007.

His expertise spans setting up AMCs: Mutual Funds, Broking, Merchant Banking, AIFs, GIFT City AIFs, obtaining NBFC registrations, and managing their compliances effectively.

In his earlier stints, he was associated with JM Financial Mutual Fund, Tower Capital & Securities Ltd., Hindustan Composites Ltd., and Multi-Arc Ltd.

He has also been a founding member and Director of the Mirae Asset Foundation, which channelises the CSR funds of all the Mirae Asset Group companies in India.
Mr. Rajesh Shetty

Chief Human Resources Officer

Rajesh Shetty is the CHRO of Mirae Asset Sharekhan (MASK) and Mirae Asset Capital Markets.

He is responsible for developing and executing in each organisation a human resource (HR) strategy that supports the organisation’s overall business plan and strategic direction. He also heads the Internal Communications, Organisational Development and the CSR programme.

A seasoned HR strategist, he is credited for developing HR as a strategic business driver in MASK since joining in 2015. With more than 30 years of experience across industries, Mr. Shetty has strong expertise in people strategy, change management, and organisation building.

He has a Master's in Human Resources Development from JBIMS and a Bachelor's in Law from the University of Mumbai.
