The Company traces its origins to M/s. Diamond Cables (DC), a Partnership Firm established in 1971. DC was later converted into a proprietory firm in 1984 which Shri S.N. Bhatnagar as a sole proprietor. On 1st October, 1992, Diamond Cables Private Limited (DCPL), a Company incorporated under the Act on 26th August, 1992, acquired the current assets and current liabilities of DC. DC was subsequently incorporated under the Act as a Private Limited Company under the name and style of Madhu Formulations Private Limited (MFPL) on the 9th March, 1993 with ROC Gujarat. DCPL entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with MFPL on 10th March, 1993, for taking over the entire business of MFPL, at a value certified by Government approved Valuers. The Company does not have any subsidiary. 2003 -Receives order from Tamil Nadu Electricity Board aggregating Rs 24 crore -SBI and IDBI have argeed the debt Restructuring and reducing the interest rate to 10% from a current level of @ 16%. 2004 - Delisting of the equity shares of the company from Vadodara, Delhi and Ahmedabad Stock Exchanges -Diamond Cables Ltd enters into long-term arrangement with EUROSTAR-UK for supply of Power Cables -Diamond Cables enters into marketing tie-up with ELCO of Israel 2005 - Diamond Cables receives International Star Award for Quality (ISAQ) in the Gold Category -Diamond Cables secures order from ABB for Uttar Pradesh projects -Diamond Cables secures export order for East Africa -Diamond Cables secures order for insulated conductors from ABB -Diamond Cables receive LOA for supply of AAAC Conductors 2007 -Diamond Cables secures orders aggregating Rs 216.70 Mn -Diamond Cables acquires Western Transformers to Augment Capacity to 10,000 MVA per annum -Company name has been changed from Diamond Cables Ltd to Diamond Power Infrastructure Ltd. 2008 -Diamond Cables Ltd has announce the acquisition of 532,000 Sq. Ft. of land next to its existing facility at Vil. Vadadala, Ta. Savli, Dist. Vadodara. -Diamond Cables Ltd has receipt an Order for supply of 867 Large Power Transformers for Middle East and 930 Transformers for export to Africa. -The Company has been awarded the following valuable credit ratings for its various bank loans by the renowned rating agency called CRISIL Ltd for Long Term Loan : BBB / Stable (Assigned) for short term P3 (Assigned). 2009 -The company receipt of a large Power Infrastructure Project entailing Electrification of North Cachar, Demaji and Kamrup Districts of Assam. -The company has recommended 10% dividend. -The company has receipt of these orders the company's order book position stands at Rs 1050 crores. -Diamond Power Infrastructure has given the Bonus in the Ratio of 1:3 2010 -Shri S. N. Bhatnagar as Chairman of the Company,Shri Amit Bhatnagar as new Managing Director of the Company, Shri Sumit Bhatnagar as new Joint Managing Director of the Company. -Diamond Power completes Rs1.25 billion HT and LT cables expansion. -"Diamond Cables Ltd - High Tension Cables Phase-II and LT Cables Project commence Trial runs" -The company has receipt of orders aggregating Rs. 332 crores. 2011 -Shri Vamesh Chovatia is Appointed as a Nominee Director. -The company received orders from Montecarlo Construction Ltd. L&T and other customers for supply of Conductors and Cables amounting to Rs. 115 Crores. -The Company had set up a modern Plant to produce transmission towers aggregating 48,000 Mt per Annum. -The Company is pleased to announce the receipt of an order aggregating Rs. 78 crores to supply Tower materials for 400 KV Quad and Twin lines aggregating 13531 MT to be supplied over the next 6 months. -Receipt of Order for Supply and Erection of 220 KV D/C lines from Gujarat Energy Transmission Company Ltd 2012 -The company received of orders aggregating 35 kms for Extra High Voltage Cables for ratings of 66.132 & 220 kv. -Receives order for supply of 108 Power Transformers aggregating Rs. 48.3 Crores Type Tests Power Transformers and commences production for Power Transformers. -Inauguration of Ultra High Voltage Laboratory". -Diamond Power Infra sets up cable testing lab at Vadadala -Diamond Power acquires strategic stake in Power and Control panel maker 2013 -Diamond Power Infrastructure approves Allotment of Bonus Shares in the ratio of 1:3 . -Diamond Power Infrastructure recommended Dividend of Rs. 1 (One Rupee) per equity share of Rs. 10/- each (@ 10%). 2014 -"Diamond Power - Receive Accredition for its Testing Facilities from NABL.India". -Diamond Power Infrastructure has bagged an order worth Rs 68.17 crore for supply of Transmission Towers. -Diamond Power Team produced India's first 400 KV, 2000 sqmm power cable, joining the club of a very few manufacturers in the world. 2015 -Diamond Power Infrastructure Receives orders aggregating Rs 332 crores from Assam and Nagland Goverments. -Diamond Power bags order worth Rs 332 crore from ASEB and Nagaland Electricity Board. -"Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited Bagged an Export Order for Supply Cables worth USD 14.5 MN for Iraq". 2016 -Diamond Power Infra bags order worth Rs 57 cr 2023 -The Company Received new purchase order from Echo Deltech India'. 2024 -The Company has splits its face value from Rs. 10/- to Rs. 1/- 2025-Diamond Power Infrastructure Ltd (DICABS) has received new project orders worth Rs 116.71 crore across Battery Energy Storage Systems, Smart Metering, and Highway infrastructure and company's total outstanding order book has risen to Rs 1,554.08 crore. The projects are scheduled for execution by March 31, 2026.-Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited has commenced commercial production-second rod mill at DICABS Nextgen.
