Company Info

The company was registered as a Private Ltd. company on 6th May, 1971 in the name of EMA India Induction Heating Company Pvt. Ltd.The equity was divided amongst the foreign collaborators EMA Electro Maschinen Schultze and the private promoters, the Bhargava family, in the ratio of 40:60. The German company has been in the induction heating equipment business for more than four decades. In 1986, it became a Public Ltd. company and the name was changed to EMA India Ltd. The company manufactures medium and high frequency induction heating equipment. During 1983-84, a letter of intent was received for the manufacture of metal cutting machines including grinding machines. The company entered into a technical collaboration agreement with Maschinenfabrik Gehring, West Germany for the manufacture of honing machines in India. EMA has an installed capacity of 20 pieces of induction heating equipments and 20 honing machines. The company has a technical-cum-financial collaboration with Gahering of Germany. 2003 -Ema India workers called-off strike 2007 - Company ecommended Dividend @ 10% for financial year 2006-07. 2008 - EMA India - E-mail ID for Investors Complaints emaindia.cs@gmail.com  2009  - Company has entered into a Joint Venture Agreement with M/s. Megatherm Electronics Pvt. Ltd.
