The company had obtained certificate of commencement of Business on 9th September, 1988. The immediate object of the company is to set up project at Kallkal village, Medak District, A.P. for the manufacture of 6,250 TPA of aluminium extrusions. The company has been promoted by Mr. M. Rajendra Prasad, Mr. A. Seshagiri Rao and Progressive Constructions Ltd. The company has obtained capital goods clearance and Import Licence for import of the equipment. The other equipment such as furnaces and material handling system is being procured indigeneously. 2001 - The Company bought back 1,29,661 shares of Rs 10 each held by IDBI at Rs 15 per share. 2005 -Danish co picks up 60% equity in Pennar Profiles Ltd 2006 -Alumeco India Extrusion Ltd has appointed Mr. Kamal Kumar as additional director of the Company. -Company has changed its name from Pennar Profiles Ltd. to Alumeco India Extrusion Ltd. 2007 - Mr. Kamal Kumar, Plant Manager, as the new Chief Operating Officer of the Company. 2015 -Alumeco India Extrusion becomes Golkonda Aluminium Extrusions - The company has changed its name from Alumeco India Extrusion Ltd. to Golkonda Aluminium Extrusion Ltd.
