Our company was originally incorporated on September 06, 2007 as a private limited company under the name and style of `Highness Micro Electronics Private Limited', under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1956, pursuant to a certificate of incorporation issued by the Registrar of Companies, Mumbai. Further, pursuant to a resolution passed by our Board of Directors in its meeting held on February 8, 2008, the name of our company was changed to `Highness Microelectronics Private Limited' and a fresh certificate of incorporation dated March 5, 2008 was issued by the Registrar of Companies, Mumbai. Subsequently, our company was converted into a public limited company pursuant to a resolution passed by the shareholders in an extraordinary general meeting held on August 31, 2024 and consequently the name of our company was changed to `Highness Microelectronics Limited' vide fresh certificate of incorporation dated November 11, 2024 was issued by the Registrar of Companies, Central Processing Centre. Highness can use resources such as - Infrastructure & Research Labs etc whereas BITS - Pilani can use Highness' manufacturing set-up to train their students and undertake industrial research projects- MOU and master research agreement executed with Manipal University, JaipurOur MOU with Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) is meant for setting-up a joint Research Lab at MUJ for undertaking further research of Ultra-Conductive Materials such as Copper & Aluminium. The result of research will jointly co-owned by both the organisation which may be mutually agreed for commercialization.
