Company Info

M/s. Santaram Spinners Limited was originally incorporated as a Private Limited Company on 17th September, 1983 and was subsequently converted into a Public Ltd. Company on 20th December '94 . The Company is promoted by Mr. Kalyan J.Shah. It is an existing, profit making and dividend paying company and is presently engaged in the manufacture of coarse Cotton Yarn on open end spinning process of various counts with an installed capacity of 10.80 lac kg per annum. The commercial production of the unit started on 5.1.1988. The plant is located at Survey No. 1433, Vill. Rajpur, Taluka Kadi, Distt. Mehsana, Gujarat. The unit had been sanctioned various loans by GSFC,the details of which are as under: 1. In January 1985 for Rs. 30.00 lacs, 2. In March 1990 for Rs. 29.54 lacs 3. In April 1991 for Rs. 34.01 lacs. The Unit has been recently sanctioned a term loan of Rs. 228 lacs jointly by GSFC and GIIC. Term loan sanction from GSFC is under their Gold Card line of Credit. There was no commercial activity in the company since its incorporation. The Company started commercial production from 5.1.1988. Brief performance highlights are given below: (Rs. in lacs) 1987-88 1988-89 1989-90 Total Income 8.38 55.74 70.39 PBDIT 3.74 23.74 25.33 Net Profit (13.80) 7.48 8.13 Share Capital 14.25 14.25 14.25 Reserves and Surplus 3.49 4.49 16.26 EPS (Rs.) 9.68 5.25 5.70 The Company has been able to consistently maintain high levels of capacity utilization, and after establishing itself in the market, it now proposes to go in for expansion mainly to make full utilization of the existing infrastructure, to cater to the unsatisfied demand of the existing clients, to meet export orders which are normally in large size and to reap the benefits of economies of scale. 2006 -The Company appointed Shri Kalyanbhai J Shah as Managing Director of the Company. 2008 -The Company designated the Email ID for the Redressal of Grievances as follows: santaramltd@gmail.com. 2018 -Company name has changed to Jayatma Industries Ltd. from Santaram Spinners Ltd.
