The Company was incorporated in the year 1975 as per the company act 1956. The company is engaged in the manufacture of transmission line towers, sub-station structures, railway electrification structures etc. & it also undertakes turnkey contracts for extra high voltage transmission lines & substations. The company has clients in domestic market such as MSEB, NPTC, NTPC etc and now it is also entering international market. The company is been promoted by Mr. V.P. Valecha of the Valecha Group and Bhopal based Mirchandani Group. The company is now embarked on a Modernisation-cum-Expansion programme. The existing factory is at Nasik and being modernised and a new unit is being set up at Kaipur in Madhya pradesh. The project is expected to be completed by 1993. 2000 - An Omani Company has teamed up with Indian power firm Jyoti Structure to bag a 24.4 million Omani rial power transmission project in the Sultanate. - Power and transmission company Jyoti Structures will enter the capital markets with a capital markets with a rights offer of 49,11,990 No. of Equity Share of Rs 10 each in the ration of 1:1 at a premium of Rs 25 each aggregating Rs 17.19 crore. 2002-S D Kulkarni resigns from Board of Jyoti Structures. -Jyoti Structures Ltd has informed that the Board of Directors at its meeting held on October 30, 2002 has approved appointment of Mr Sudhir S Karande as Chief Executive Officer of the company with effect from October 22, 2002. 2003 - Awarded prestigious export order for the value of 28.75 million USD (Approximately Rs 1310 million ) by Tunisian State Electricity & Gas Utility STEG for supply, erection and commissioning of high voltage overhead transmission lines in North Africa. -The share holders have approved to delist equity shares of the company in Ahmedabad & Delhi Stock Exchanges. -Company allotmented 16,43,000 equity shares on private placement basis. -ICICI Bank has nominated Shri.
