Brief history of the Company The Company was incorporated as `Newgen Software Technologies Private Limited' on June 5, 1992, as a private limited company under the Companies Act 1956, with a certificate of incorporation granted by the RoC. the Company became a deemed public limited company in terms of Section 43(A) of the Companies Act 1956 with effect from July 1, 1997. Further, pursuant to a special resolution passed by the shareholders on June 7, 2000, the name was changed to `Newgen Software Technologies Limited' and the Company was converted into a public limited company with effect from June 13, 2000.
