Numero Uno Finance Limited was incorporated on 18th July, 1990 as a Private Limited Company in the name and style of Numero Uno Housing & Finance Private Limited and subsequently it was converted to a Limited Company on 21st May, 1992 with a subsequent change in its name to Numero Uno Finance Ltd. on 22nd May, 1992. The Company was incorporated for the purpose of providing services in leasing and hire purchase. PRESENT BUSINESS The Company is engaged in the business of leasing, hire purchase bills discounting and hiring projectors etc. As on 31-07-95, the company has made disbursements in leasing Rs. 90.82 lakhs, hire purchase Rs. 4.15 lakhs and bills discounting Rs. 12.50 lakhs. The Company is able to recover its dues regularly and there is no major default in recovery of amounts disbursed. The Company is having an Investment Committee which takes the investment decisions keeping in view the exposure to a single company, industry and other relevant factors. All investment decisions are backed by the research, analysis and detailed information about the company and industry.
