Reliance Chemotex Industries Limited (RCIL), incorporated in 1977 under the Companies Act and was registered with the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra. The Company received its certificate of commencement of business on September 1, 1977 from the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra. It shifted its registered office to Rajasthan vide the CLB Bench Order dated 15/12/79. RCIL is an existing, profit making, dividend paying company. The Company is engaged in the business of manufacture of blended polyester/viscose yarn. The manufacturing facilities are located in Village Kanpur, District Udaipur, Rajasthan. The Company set up a plant for the manufacture of synthetic blended yarn in 1977, with an installed capacity of 12,400 spindles. In 1982, the Company expanded its capacity to 16,320 spindles. The company is presently in the process of implementing a modernisation programme as well as expansion of capacity to 17,280 spindles.
