The Company was incorporated on 3rd December, 1991 under the Companies Act, 1956 as Sampre Nutritions Private Limited. The Company was subsequently converted into a public limited company on 16th May, 1994, in terms of a special resolution passed on 9th April 1994 under section 31/44 of the Companies Act,1956. MAIN OBJECTS OF THE COMPANY The main objects of the Company are set out in the Memorandum and Articles of Association and contain, inter alia, the following objectives: 1. To manufacture, produce & process Food Products, Beverages, Soft Drinks, Confectionery products, Medicinal formulations, Ayurvedic & Unani formulations, Cosmetics, Toiletries, Personal care, Health Care, Personal hygiene, Sanitary, beauty care, Casual medicines, Therapeutic products, Soaps, Detergents, Household pesticides, House hygiene, Antiseptic, Anti-bacterial, Hair-care, Skin-care, Grooming aids, Eye-care Digestive aids, House-hold remedies, First-aid medicines,Whitening agents, Food preservatives, Food additives, Snacks, Biscuits, Cookies, Readymixes, Instantfoods, Dessicants, Sauces, Jams, Squashes, Premixes, Protein foods and other allied products. 2. To buy, sell, manufacture, to carry on liaison work, act as, agents, importers, exporters, distributors, stockists and represent manufacturers, producers, importers & exporters of food and other Health Care Products, together with various allied items to market in India or abroad for both Indian & foreign companies, firms, merchants either individually or in association with any other person or persons. 3. To acquire, develop, process and deal in scientific know how and process of manufacturing food and other health products. 4. To take up turnkey projects or enter into collaboration agreements in India or abroad for setting up similar industries to manufacture or to deal in food and other health products. 5. To manufacture, fabricate machineries, import, export equipments, necessary types and dyes and any other article or articles considered necessary tar manufacturing food and after health products. PRESENT BUSINESS OF THE COMPANY SAMPRE NUTRITIONS, was incorporated as a private limited company to manufacture cough drops/lozenges/candies. In November 1991, the land at Medchal Industrial Estate was allotted to the company by Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation. The land development work was started during January 1992 and construction was completed i.e. by June 1993. The company was registered as an SSI vide permanent registration No. 012258720 dt.2nd April 94. The installed capacity of the company is 1200 Metric Tonnes an single shift basis working of 300 days. The company has already entered into a long-term contract for three years, with a renewable clause, on loan-license basis with M/s. Procter & Gamble India Ltd., to produce their VICKS brand cough drops for International market. M/s. Procter & Gamble, has approved this facility far" manufacture of bulk Vicks cough drops for export to the P & G subsidiary at Japan after the necessary verification work done by the Japanese team.They have certified that "The product was fully approved and accepted in all respects meeting stringent quality requirements.and is designed to meet international qualify standards for throat drops manufacture." Source : P & G certificate dated 15th April, 1994. 2000 -Sampre Nutritions has bagged a Rs 2.20 crore order form Indian Airlines to supply candies and toffees. 2008 -The email i.d. designated exclusively for grievance redressal division / compliance officer:gurbani@satyam.net.in. 2018 -Sampre Nutrition launched new products under 'SAMPRE' Brand. 2025-The Company has issued Bonus Shares in the Ratio of 1:1.-The Company has splits its face value from Rs. 10/- to Rs. 5/-.
