The Company was incorporated on 12th March, 1980 at Jallundur, Punjab. The company was promoted by R.K.Garg, V.K.Garg and Ravinder Kumar. The company entered into an agreement dated 9th Aug. 1982 and a supplementary agreement dated 17th Aug. 1983 with M/s Rohit Engineers and Consultants (REC) New Delhi to provide complete technical know-how, consisting of process, basic and detailed engineering of the project and services for procurement, construction, supervision and commissioning of the entire Complex. Another agreement dated 19th August 1983, was entered into with M/s projects and Development India Ltd. (PDIL) for the supply of knowhow and basic design package for the Sulphuric acid plant. The main objects of the Company is manufacture of single super phosphate (SSP), slulphuric acid, oleum and sodium silico fluoride. 2017 -Company name has changed to Saptak Chem And Business Ltd. from Munak Chemicals Ltd..
