The company was incorporated on 24th May 1967 as ACE Tools Pvt. Limited and shared manufacturing of holding tools like collets, chuncks etc. for drills, taps, reamers cutters etc. in collaboration with ACE tools USA. The company changed its name to Solitaire Machine Tools Pvt. Ltd. on May 2, 1986. It converted into public on April 2, 1992. The company does not have any subsidiary. The company is promoted by Praful J Sheth, Dinesh J Sheth and Ashok J Sheth. 2006 - Solitaire Machine sets up second manufacturing pant at Gorwa, Vadodara. 2007 -The Company Board recommended dividend @ 6% i.e. Rs 0.60 per equity shares of Rs 10/- each for the Financial Year 2006-2007 2010 - The Company had entered into in technical collaboration agreement with Bocca & Malandrone Sunebo S.p.A. in 2008 2011 -Company has recommended payment of dividend of Rs.1/- (i.e. 10%) on 4542176 equity share of Rs. 10/- each for the financial year 2010-11 2012 -Solitaire Machine Tools Ltd. has recommended payment of Dividend of 15% on equity shares for the financial year ended March 31, 2012. 2013 -Solitaire Machine Tools Ltd has recommended payment of dividend of 7.5% on equity shares. 2014 -Company was awarded the Regional Star Performer Award by Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC) India.
