Our Company was originally incorporated as a private limited company on July 10, 2006 under the name Tree House Education & Accessories Private Limited. Pursuant to a special resolution of our shareholders in an EGM on December 13, 2010, our Company was converted to a public limited company and a fresh certificate of incorporation consequent to the change of status was granted on December 22, 2010 by the RoC. One of our Promoters, Mrs. Geeta Bhatia, had been in the business of running nursery and pre-school education centres since 2003 and the business was being administered under proprietorship firm of M/s Tree House. In Fiscal 2007, the proprietorship firm was acquired by our Company through a slump sale agreement dated April 1, 2007 ("Slump Sale Agreement"). Major Events and Milestones 2003 Inception of the first preschool in Mumbai. 2006 Set up six more preschools 2007 Acquisition of proprietorship firm M/s Tree House. The first franchised preschool was launched. 2007 Launched first franchisee pre-school as a part of our expansion plans. 2008 Launched teacher training program. 2008 Received investment of Rs. 500 million* from Matrix Partners India Investment Holdings, LLC. 2008 Started providing educational services and infrastructure facilities to K-12 schools. 2008 Started day care centres under the name `Muskaan'. 2010 Received investment of Rs. 310 million and Rs. 90 million from FC VI India Venture (Mauritius) Limited and Matrix Partners Investment Holding, LLC, respectively. 2010 Conversion into a public limited company. 2011 Received investment of Rs. 42 million, Rs. 14 million and Rs. 133.62 million from Matrix Partners Investment Holding, LLC, FC VI India Venture (Mauritius) Limited and ON Mauritius respectively. 2011 Received an investment of Rs 1121 million through an Initial Public Offer and shares of the Company were listed at National Stock Exchange and Bombay Stock Exchange in the month of August 2011 2012 -Received an investment of Rs. 1,121 million through an Initial Public Offer -Received an investment of Rs. 189 million -Company has signed a Non-Binding Memorandum of Understanding with MT Educare Limited 2013 - Tree House wins the Best PE/VC-backed Education Company Award at VCCircle Annual Awards 2013" 2014. - Tree House Board approves MOU to monetize school land in Vadodara -Treehouse Inaugurates its Global Champs preschool center at Dharavi at the hands of Shri Deepak Parekh, Chairman, HDFC Limited. 2015 -Tree House Education & Accessories Ltd has titled "Maharashtra Chief Minister's wife Smt.Amruta Fadnavis visits Global Champs pre-school in Dharavi". -Tree House Education & Accessories Ltd has Credit Rating for Long Term Bank Facilities has been upgraded by Credit Analysis & Research Ltd from "CARE A - (minus) to CARE A". 2016 -Tree House, Zee Learn revised merger deal approved -TreeHouse awarded as Fast Emerging PreSchool Brand in western India as per Education Excellence Award 2021-Award passed by the Arbitrator in the matter of Tree House Education & Accessories Limited and Janodhar Shikshan Prasarak Mandal and others to the Company
