Subsequently, pursuant to a special resolution of the Shareholders passed in an extra-ordinary general meeting dated December 14, 2009 the Company was converted from a private limited company to a public limited company and consequently the name of the Company was changed to `Uma Exports Limited', and a fresh certificate of incorporation dated March 25, 2010 was issued to the Company by the Registrar of Companies, West Bengal.
