The company was incorporated on 22nd July, 1987 at Bombay as a public limited company and obtained the certificate of commencement of business on 13th October 1987. It was promoted by the UB group and VDH Europe, BV Holland (UDHE). The main objects of the company is to offer restandardising and reconditioning of manufacturing equipment and rentals and parts exchange service for mechanical components which are subject to wear and tear. The company entered into an agreement with VDH Europe, BV Holland (VDHE). VDHE agreed to participate in the equity capital of the company to the extent of Rs. 83.32 lakhs and also to provide all the technical knowhow for the first five years of the project. During the year 1991-'92, the operations of the company were affected for a period of three months due to labour unrest. 2011 -United Van Der Horst Ltd has informed that the Board of Directors at their meeting held on August 06, 2011 has decided Mr. Pritam Singh as an Independent Director. 2012 -United Van Der Horst Ltd has informed that Mr. Agnelo A Fernandes who is an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India has been appointed as Company Secretary of the Company. 2024 -The Company has splits its face value from Rs. 10/- to Rs. 5/-.
