Market Report- Markets trade flat. RBI policy in focus

The benchmark indices were trading flat on December 05, 2025, ahead of the key interest rate decision by the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The MPC's three-day meeting is set to conclude today with a repo rate announcement scheduled at 10 am. At 9.25 am, Sensex fell by 0.04% or 40 points to 85,227. The Nifty slipped 0.01% or 2 points to 26,029.
