After a brutal opening, Indian indices have staged a dramatic recovery on Thursday, April 2, 2026. The market has erased nearly all its morning losses amid value buying and a strong rupee. At 3.06 pm, Sensex rose by 0.21% or 158 points to 73,281. The Nifty gained 0.12% or 25 points to 22,700.
