Indian stock markets continued to trade in positive territory on July 09, 2026. The rally in the market was drive by broad-based buying in realty, media, healthcare, pharma, banking, and FMCG stocks after the previous session's sharp decline. However, IT stocks were under pressure. At 1.09 pm, Sensex rose by 0.68% or 494 points to 77,010. The Nifty gained 0.65% or 165 points to 24,049.
