Midday Report- Market in red. Nifty below 25,500

Indian markets have indeed slipped into the red, paring nearly all those opening gains on February 26, 2026, as selling pressure emerged at higher levels. At 12.41 pm, Sensex slipped by 0.15% or 124 points to 82,147. The Nifty dipped 0.12% or 28 points to 25,455.

Asia-Pacific rose, tracking Wall Street gains as strong earnings from Nvidia and Oracle lifted investor sentiment.

European stocks are expected to open flat to lower ahead of a raft of earnings reports from the region.
