Midday Report- Markets trade in red. Nifty below 25,650

The benchmark indices were trading lower on February 05, 2026, amid weak global cues. The sharp selling in metal stocks and continued pressure across autos, capital goods and consumer also weighed on market sentiments. At 1.00 pm, Sensex slipped by 0.55% or 468 points to 83,355. The Nifty dipped by 0.54% or 137 points to 25,639.
