Midday Report- Markets trade positive after last week's fall

After three consecutive sessions of heavy selling, the Indian markets have staged a significant comeback on April 27, 2026. Strong global cues and a landmark acquisition in the pharmaceutical sector provided the necessary momentum for the benchmarks indices. Most of the sectoral indices were trading in green. At 12.46 pm, Sensex rose by 0.74% or 560 points to 77,225. The Nifty gained 0.74% or 179 points to 24,070.
