Post Market Update- Markets rebound from day's low. Sensex up 266 pts

Stocks in the news-

1. ACME Solar secured 301 MW/1,204 MWh assured peak supply SECI FDRE proj in an e-reverse auction.

2. Bajel Projects bagged EHV substation order in the range of Rs. 100-200 Cr from Power Grid Corporation.

Earnings-

1. Greaves Cotton Q3 net profit up 22.6% YoY at Rs. 25.5 cr.

2. BLS International Services Q3 net profit rose 34.8% at Rs. 162.7 cr.

Economics-

1. RBI leaves repo rate stance unchanged at 5.25%.

Indian indices-

The bulls managed to seize control after shaky start. The Indian markets successfully staged a V-shaped recovery February 6, 2026. The indices managed to snap a losing streak, finishing with modest but meaningful gains. The markets recovered from the day's low, helped by buying interest at lower levels. The RBI maintained its neutral policy stance and left key policy rates unchanged at 5.25%. At close, the Sensex was up 266.47 points or 0.32% at 83,580.40, and the Nifty was up 50.90 points or 0.20% at 25,693.70.

Rupee ended at 90.66/$ Vs. February 05, 2026, close of 90.36/$.

Buzzing stocks on BSE-

1. Kriti Industries (India) rose 1.57% to Rs. 83, after the company's consolidated net loss narrowed sharply to Rs. 0.47 crore in Q3 FY26 from Rs. 10.89 crore in Q3 FY25.

2. MRF rallied 8.57% to Rs. 1,46,495.05, after the company's consolidated net profit surged 119.31% to Rs. 691.83 crore in Q3 December 2025 over Q3 December 2024.

3. Jubilant Pharmova declined 4.22% to Rs. 933.40, after the company reported 45% fall in consolidated net profit to Rs. 55.8 crore in Q3 FY26 from Rs 100.7 crore in Q3 FY25.

Global Signals-

Asia markets mostly fell, tracking Wall Street losses on tech rout.

European stock markets were mixed, as a week full of corporate earnings reports draws to a close.
