Company Info

The company was incorporated on 31st December 1965 as a Private Limited Company with the object of running a paper mill at Bombay under the name and style of F.Pudumjee & Co Pvt Ltd.It became deemed Public Limited Company on 4th May 1977 and subsequently was converted into Public Limited Company on 31.1.86. The Company had made application to the Government for permission to import a second hand paper machine.However before the sanction was received the mill was completely destroyed by fire in March 1976.In the meanwhile the Company received a licence to import a second hand paper machine.Since the land where the paper mill was acquired by the Municipal Corporation the company decided to install the imported machinery at Thergaon at Pune In April 1977 the company became a subsidiary of Pudumjee Pulp & Paper Mills Limited. The paper machines of the company are used in the manufacture of fairly wide range of paper such as Crepe Tissue,Hygiene Tissue,MG Tissue,Carbon Tissue and Wrappers for fruit,flowers and food,Poster Paper and Kraft Paper. The erstwhile Kapil Agro Ltd amalgamated with the Company in the year 1990.The said company has a solvent extraction plant at Village Kheri,Madhya Pradesh.This amalgamation was done to broad base the activities of the Company. 2000 -The Company has entered into agreements with Depositories which would enable investors to hold and trade company's shares in Dematerialised form. 2008 -Company name has been changed from Pudumjee Agro Industries Ltd to Pudumjee Industries Ltd. -The Company has splits its face value from Rs10/- to Rs2/-. -Pudumjee Industries has created an E-mail ID for Investor Complaints: inv_compl_pail@pune.pudumjee.com. 2010 -Pudumjee Industries has recommended dividend of Re. 0.20 per equity share of Rs. 2/- each 2011 -Mr. Rushabh P. Shroff has been appointed as Additional Director. 2013 -Mr. Vinod Kumar Jatia is appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company. -Mr. C. N. Jajodiya is appointed as `Executive Director of the Company.
