The company made a public issue in December 1985. The company was promoted by Sushil Ansal, Gopal Ansal and Deepak Ansal and Ansal properties & Industries (P) Ltd. as well as their associates. The name of the company was changed to Ansal Housing & Construction Ltd. w.e.f 31st May, 1990. The company is at present mainly engaged in the construction of High Rise Buildings, Residential complexes, Farm Houses, Real Estate Development and Construction etc. 2006 -Ansal Housing & Construction Ltd is launching its project at Majestic City of Indore namely "ANSAL TOWN INDORE" on November 12, 2006. 2007 -Ansal Housing & Construction Ltd has informed that the Director, Town & Country Planning, Chandigarh, Haryana has issued licence for development of approx. 100 acre of Residential Project of the Company at Sector - 19, Rewari (Haryana). -Ansal Housing & Construction Ltd has informed that the Company on September 15, 2007 has launched a new Project named "Ansals Woodbury Apartments" at Zirakpur (Punjab). 2008 -Company has been awarded by Lucknow Development Authority a contract of Rs 48.5 crores for construction of 2352 houses for economically weaker section of the society under "Manyavar Kanshi Ram Ji Nagar Awas Yojna" -Ansal Housing & Construction Ltd launched a new Project named "Ansals Elegance", at Aavantika Extn.
