Ltd. in 1956 which was again changed to Hansa Industrial Tools Company Private Limited in 1970. The company was converted into public limited company on 19th November 1982. In the year 1983 the name of Hansa Industrial Tools Company Private Limited was changed to Batliboi Engineering Company limited. In June, 1984 Batliboi Engineering Company Limited was amalgamated with Batliboi & Company Ltd. and consequently the name was again changed to Batliboi & Company Ltd. on August 16, 1984. The main object of the company is manufacturing and marketing egineering Machinery and Equipment and Execution of Engineering and Turnkey projects. The various foreign technical collaborators of the company are 1. Klopp works kg. West Germany. 2. Polytechnic, Czechoslovakia. 3. Barbar Colman, Company Rock Ford Illinois, U.S.A. 4. Peabody Holmes Ltd. U.K. 5. Ventilateron, West Germany. 6. Wheelabrator Air Pollution Control U.S.A. 7. Cincinnati Milacron inc; U.S.A. 8. Daikin Industries Ltd.Japan Hydraulic & General Engineers Ltd., Batliboi International Ltd. are three subsidiaries of the company.
