Since December 1988, the company has been involved in a phased manner, in activities relating to setting up a project for manufacture of Glycol Ether, Ethylene Oxide Condensate Emulsifier, Vinyl Sulphone and Ethyl Acetate. The first module of the project consisting of Glycol Ether and Ethylene oxide condensate emulsifier plants was put into commercial operation during August 1992. The second module is expected to go on commercial production by the fourth quarter of the year 1993. Promters The company has been promoted by Sarvashri Shankar G Bhanushali, Chandrakant K Pandya, Suresh H Nanda and their associates. Subsidiaries The company does not have any subsidiary. 2008 - Company name has been changed from Vamotiwala Chemical Industries Ltd to Caprolactam Chemicals Ltd.
