Company under the name and style of Citi Port Financial Services Private Limited on 1st July. 1992 under the Companies Act, 1956. The Company was converted into Public Limited and a Fresh Certificate of Incorporation was obtained on May 28, 1993. The company has no link with any financial Corporation /Institution or Bank or any other reputed group. PRESENT BUSINESS At present the Company is engaged in the leasing of vehicles. and Investment in Stocks & Shares. The Investment presently is being done both in the primary as well as the Secondary markets. The decisions regarding Investments are taken by a investment committee which constitutes the Board of Directors. The total portfolio of the company is around Rs 53.04 lacs valued at cost as on 31.03.95. The vehicles presently being leased includes two wheelers and Cars. The leasing is primarily being done to other group companies. Some of these items are also being leased to individuals. The company has plans to expand into leasing of other items like computers and heavy machineries too, apart from expanding the existing line of leasing of vehicles.
