YEAR EVENTS 1993 - The company is incorporated on 19th October, and it is engaged in the business of leasing, hirepurchase, bill discounting, merchant banking, advisory services, capital market operations etc. 1995 - The Company was granted a certificate of registration as Category-I Merchant Banker by SEBI effective from 01.10.94 to 30.09.97. - The company has also been granted provisional membership by the National Stock Exchange Ltd. and is promoting a separate corporate entity to hold its membership as per their regulations. - During the year, the Company received Fixed Deposits aggregating to Rs 326.02 lacs from 1172 fixed deposit holders. - During the year, 70,64,150 Equity Shares were issued to the promoters and general public in terms of prospectus to augment its long term resources. 2000 - A MoU has been entered into between the company and M/s. Soft Electronics Co. Inc. USA for forming a joint venture to establish education/training centre in the field of Information Technology, Telecommunication and related activities. 2005 -Company has recommended dividend @ 10%. 2006 -Som Datt Finance Corporation Declaration of the Dividend @ Rs 1/- per share on the equity share capital of the Company. 2007 -Som Datt Finance Corporation has recommended dividend of Rs 1.50 (15%) per share on equity shares of Rs 10/- each. 2008 - Som Datt Finance Corporation has also recommended dividend of Rs 1.50 [15%] per share on equity shares of Rs 10/- each of the Company. 2012 - Som Datt Finance Corporation appointed Brigadier Lalit Mohan Segat as an additional director of the Company. 2014 -Som Datt Finance Corporation appointed Mrs. Charu Datt Bhatia as Director of the Company. 2015 -Som Datt Finance Corporation Ltd has informed hat the Registered office has been shifted to Gajraj Chambers, 2B, 2nd Floor, 86 B/2, Topsia Road (South), Kolkata, West Bengal-700 046. 2025-The company issued rights shares of Rs. 10 in the ratio of 7:10 at a premium of Rs. 60 per share.
