    24 Jan 2020 , 11:33AM As per media reports, DLF backed by GIC fund plans to invest Rs. 5000 crore to develop a 6.8 million square feet IT park in Chennai. The company will start construction of 2.5 million sq ft in first phase at a cost of Rs. 1200-1500 crore which is expected to be ready by mid 2021. The company has identified a development pipeline of 20 million sq ft (11msf in Gurugram and 7msf in Chennai) at an estimated cost of Rs. 13,000 crore over the next six to seven years and construction of 5.5 million sq ft is underway. This will augment 32 million sq ft rental portfolio and it plans to take national portfolio to over 50 million sq ft once new project are completed. Positive read thru for the stock.

  • DLF reports strong Q4 earnings

    22 May 2019 , 12:19PM DLF reported 81.5% y-o-y growth (up 12.7% q-o-q) in consolidated net revenues for Q4FY2019 to Rs. 2500 crore. Further it posted operating profit of Rs. 534 crore vs operating loss of Rs14 crore in Q4FY2018 (although down 17% q-o-q). The company booked Rs. 127 crore exceptional gain (stake disposal in a group company) and lower ETR (16.3% Vs 47% in Q4FY2018 and 53.2% in Q3FY2019) leading to reported consolidated net profit growth of 76% y-o-y (up 30% q-o-q) to Rs. 437 crore. Adjusting for exceptional item, the net profit grew 25% y-o-y (down 8% q-o-q) to Rs. 310 crore. The company maintained net sales booking of Rs. 650 crore (up 15% q-o-q) while reduce its net debt by 2741 crore to Rs. 4483 crore at the end of FY2019.
