The company was incorporated on March 25, 1986 as a Private Ltd. company in the name of Galada Brothers Private Limited. Later, the company's name was changed to Galada Finance Private Ltd from 17th April 1990. The company, by means of a resolution dated 30 th April 1994, was converted into a Public Limited Company and the necessary fresh certificate of incorporation was obtained on 27th June 1994. The company was promoted by Shri Ashok Galada, a commerce graduate with over 23 Years exposure to Hire Purchase and Lease Finance activities. He is looking after the day to-day functioning of GFL. The company's registered cum corporate office is located at "GALADA NIVAS", 11, Perianaiyakaran Street, Madras - 600 079. PRESENT BUSINESS The company is engaged primarily in Leasing and Hire-purchase finance. This is an existing company, which is presently active in the field of Hire-Purchase of vehicles and other assets. The company proposes to expand its activities by entering into Leasing, Bill Discounting and Merchant Banking in a big way by enhancing the Equity base and creating infrastructure facilities for the same.
