Narmada Macplst Drip Irrigation Systems Limited (hereinafter referred to as Narmada) was incorporated on June 9, 1992 under the Companies Act, 1956 and obtained certificate of commencement of business on June 16, 1992. The Company was promoted by Mr. Vajubhai Vaghasia, who is having nearly twenty one years of experience in the Plastic Industry. He has a group of companies engaged in the production and trading of various plastic items which find application in agricultural/irrigation systems. Shri Vaghasia is also the Managing Committee member of Plastic India Foundation, Bombay, Co-opted Member, Gujarat Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Regional Chairman of Federation of All India Small Scale Industries Association (FASSI), besides being an active member of the other industry associations. Since last twelve years he has been associated with Gujarat State Plastic Manufacturers Association and became its President in 1991. The Company has a technical tie u pwith CIPET (Cental Institute of Plastic Engineering and Tools), an institute promoted by Ministry of Chemicals nd Fertilisers, Goverment of India. The Company proposes to manufacture Drip Irrigation Systems at Santej, Taluka Kalol, District Mehsana, Gujarat. The Company, in its first year of operation (1992-93) began marketing of Drip Irrigation Systems. The Company has started setting up marketing network by appointing Dealers, Distributors, Resident Representatives at all India level. It obtained approval from Government for Product subsidy. The group is dealing in manufacturing and marketing of rigid PVC pipes, fittings and drip irrigation systems. The company has installed drip irrigation systems in a few farms in Ahmedabad, Rajkot and Gandhinagar and other parts of Gujara by manufacuturing some of the parts in one/more of the group companies and buying drippers from the marekt for assembly and installation in the farm. The company has installed drip irrigation system in fifty farms in Gujarat.2025-The Company has splits its face value from Rs. 10/- to Rs. 2/-.-The Company has issued Bonus Shares in the Ratio of 1:1.
