Our Company was incorporated as `National Stock Exchange of India Limited' as a public limited company under the Companies Act, 1956, pursuant to a certificate of incorporation dated November 27, 1992, issued by the Assistant Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra at Bombay and commenced its operations pursuant to a certificate of commencement of business dated March 2, 1993, issued by the Additional Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra at Bombay.Our Company was granted recognition as a stock exchange by the Ministry of Finance, Government of India by way of a notification dated April 26, 1993, which was subsequently renewed for a period of five years each by way of notifications dated April 6, 1998, and April 10, 2003, issued by SEBI.
