The company was originally incorporated as Ram Ratna Winding Wires Pvt. Limited on 21st July, 1992. Subsequently the Company was converted from Private Limited to Public Limited as well as changed its name to Ram Ratna Wires Ltd. by passing a Special Resolution dated 18th November, 1992 and a fresh certificate of incorporation consequent of change of name was obtained from Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra, Bombay. The promoters intended to proceed with the project only after December '93/January, 1994 and approached IDBI, Ahmedabad for term financing. IDBI has appraised the project when each of the critical success factors for the success of the business have been evaluated, such as background of the promoters, managerial competence, marketing strengths, the performance of the group companies engaged in the same line of business etc. PRESENT BUSINESS: The company is presently implementing the project at Survey No.212, village Dadra, UT of Dadra and Nagar Haveli for the manufacture of Super Enamelled Copper Winding Wires and Submersible Copper Wires.
