The Company was incorporated as a Private Limited Company on 6th August, 1991 as Associated Textile Rubber Products Private Limited with the object of manufacturing Aprons and Cots of Synthetic Rubber. The existing unit was set up with the term loan assistance from The Tamilnadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited (TIIC) in the year 1992. The Company commenced the commercial production from 1st March, 1994. The present installed capacity of the unit is 25 lakh numbers of Aprons and 25.75 lakh numbers of Cots based on three shifts of working for 300 days in a year. The Aprons and Cots are used as consumables in textile spinning mills. With the aid of TIIC and working capital facilities from Bank of Baroda the Company successfully set up the existing facilities. With the technical expertise of Mr. T. K. G. Kurup and Mr. T. Narayan Kutty the company is able to manufacture products of international standard. The Company was subsequently converted into Associated Textile Rubber Products Limited (ASTER) on 30th November, 1994. ASTER Cots and Aprons are well backed by constant research and development and undergo rigid quality control tests before they enter the market. As a result of their exclusive pre-testing procedures, ASTER products have already bagged huge orders. 2011 -Company has changed its name from Associated Textile Rubber Products Ltd. to SRK Industries Ltd. -Registered Office of the Company has been shifted To 3/42, Palaniappa Nagar,Ramanathapuram, Coimbatore - 641 045. 2012 -Approval of appointment of Mr. S. L. Ojha and Mr. H. P. Choursia as an independent director. -S R K Industries Ltd have approved the appointment of Mr. Rakeshchand M Jain as an Executive Director cum Compliance Officer of the Company. 2013 -S R K Industries Ltd has considered and approved allotment of 3,88,50,000 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each at par. -Shifting of Registered office of the Company from the state of Tamil Nadu to the State of Maharashtra. -SRK Industries has splits its face value from Rs 10/- to 5/- 2014 -The Board of Directors of the Company has appointed Mr. Harish Ratanchand Jain as Independent Director of the Company. -The Registered office of the company has been shifted from F-35, Shagun Arcade, Film City Road, Dindoshi, Malad (East), Mumbai - 400097 to 310, V Star Plaza, 'A' Wing, Chandawarkar Road, Borivali (West) Mumbai - 400092, Telephone : 022 - 4023 5742, Telefax : 022 - 4023 5742. 2020 -Company name has changed to RRIL Ltd. from SRK Industries Ltd.
