The principal activity of the company is the manufacture of Nylon insert self locking Nut (NYLOC Nuts) The company was promoted by the J. N. Marshall group in technical & Financial collaboration with firth cleveland fastenings Ltd (Now known as forest fastners Ltd.) of U.K. who were also the orginal investors of Nyloc. 2005 -The Company has recommended payment of dividend of Re 1/- per share. 2009 -The Company recommended dividend of Rs 1.20/- per share. 2012 -The Company approved an investment upto Rs. 4.0 crores in a Partnership Firm at Chennai engaged in manufacturing and supplying all kinds of fasteners including studs, boils, nuts, heater plugs and other engineering products. -The Company has recommended a dividend @ 25% per share. 2013 -Simmonds Marshall Ltd has proposed to pay dividend @ 25% per share which is @ 0.50 paise per share. 2014 -Simmonds Marshall Ltd has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 0.50 per share of Rs. 2/- (25%)
