Company Info

Simplex Castings registered as a partnership firm in 1971, was incorporated as a private limited company on the 30th January 1980 as per the provisions of the Companies Act 1956. It was converted into a public limited company in March 93. Its installed capacity of 1200 tpa to manufacture castings and cater to the demadn of major steel plants as well as its group company, Simplex Engineering and Foundry Works Limited. The group also diversified in Plastics by installing capacity for manufacture of HDPE Woven Sacks and a joint venture with M/s Sigmum Brandschutz GmBH, Germany was entered into for manufactureof Hi-tech Fire Preservention Systems. 2007 - Company has designated an E-mail ID 'investors@simplexcasting.com' for the purpose of registering complaints by Investors. 2011 -The Board of Directors of the Company have recommended dividend at the rate of 25%. 2012 -The Board of Directors of the Company has declared a dividend at Rs. 2.5/- per Share. 2013 -Ms. Monalisa Patni, an Associate Member of Institute of Chartered Secretaries of India (ICSI) has been appointed by Board of the Directors as a Company Secretary in the Company. -The Board of Directors of the Company has recommended dividend of Rs. 1/- per each Equity Shares. 2014 -Mr. Avinash Hariharno has been appointed by the Board of the Directors as Chief Financial officer of the Company. -The Board of Directors of the Company have recommended a dividend of 5% (Re. 0.50) per share. 2015 -Simplex Castings Ltd has received an order from Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW), owned by Indian Railways worth of Rs. 54.00 cr -Simplex Castings bags Rs 10 cr order from Jindal Rail Infrastructure Limited. 2016 -Simplex Castings Ltd has received an order from Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited and Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited worth of Rs 22.00 cr approx and from Rs 8.00 cr approx from Jindal Rail Infrastructure Limited. -Simplex Castings Ltd has bagged order worth Rs. 18.00 cr from Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) for manufacture & supply of Cast Steel Bogies for CONCOR's Container flat wagons.
