    14 Dec 2022 , 11:58AM Triveni Turbine has fixed Friday, December 23,2022, as the record date for the purpose of determining the entitlement and the names of the holders of the Equity Shares who shall be eligible to participate in the Buyback. The buyback would take place at Rs 350 per share (at a premium of ~18% from the current price levels). The company plans to buy-back 1.68% of the total paid up equity i.e. 5.4 million equity shares through tender offer on proportionate basis for a total amount of Rs 190 crore. Our view: Shareholders can tender their shares for the buyback given the premium from current price levels. However, since the buyback is small, the acceptance ratio for retail investors (despite 15% reservation) would be low. From long-term perspective we are positive on the stock with a target price of Rs 325.

Company Info

The Company was originally incorporated on June 27, 1995 under the Companies Act, 1956 as Triveni SRI Private Limited. The Company became a Public Company w.e.f April 29, 1996 and the word Private was deleted resulting in change of name of the Company to Triveni SRI Ltd. The name of the Company was changed to Triveni Retail Ventures Limited on January 19, 2007 and subsequently to Triveni Turbine Limited on March 8, 2010. The registered office of our Company was changed on July 9, 2010 from 104, 1st Floor, Grand Plaza, 99, Old Rajinder Nagar Market, New Delhi, Delhi - 110 060 to the present Registered Office.
