(SPIC) as Company Promoters. The Company adopted the Toya Soda process for the first time in India for the manufacture of soda ash and ammonium chloride. 2002-Tuticorin Alkali Chemicals and Fertilisers Ltd has informed BSE that consequent to the improvement in water position, its plant at Tuticorin has resumed the manufacturing operations with effect from September 02, 2002. 2003 - Tuticorin Alkali Chemicals and Fertilisers Ltd. Appointed Thiru S Chandramohan as a Managing Director of the Company. 2006 - TAC to amalgamate with SPIC 2020 -Tuticorin Alkali Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited (TFL) has won the "Partnership of the Year" Award from Unilever for 2020. -Tuticorin Alkali Chemicals & Fertilizers successfully commenced production of Worlds first Green Soda Ash by the company at its plant in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu. 2022-Tuticorin Alkali Chemicals & Fertilizers's production activities commenced again after completing the maintenance activities and normal production established since 2nd November, 20222023 -Tuticorin Alkali Chemicals & Fertilizers successfuliy commenced production of Worlds first Green Soda Ash by the company at its plant in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu. 2024-Tuticorin Alkali Chemicals & Fertilizers has commenced again the production at the Tuticorin plant
