YEAR EVENTS 1994 - The Company was incorporated in the state in Maharashtra on 10th February, as a Private Limited Company in the name and style of Chokhani Securities Private Limited by the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra, at Mumbai. - The Company became a Public Limited Company under Section 44 of the Companies Act, 1956 with effect from 4th July, and a fresh certificate of incorporation dated 26/7/94 was obtained from Registrar of Company, Maharashtra, Mumbai. 1995 - The Company had proposed to carry out merchant banking activities and had received an approval in principle from SEBI as Category I Merchant Banker. - The Public Issue of your Company for 10,00,000 equity shares in January, was over subscribed by 7.78 times inspite of difficult market conditions. 1997 - Company's performance during the period was affected by unfavourable business climate and continuous fall in share prices however, with skillful management of cash flows the company could minimise the losses. 1998 - The company has initiated steps to induct a strategic partner who can compliments the existing strength of the business and future expansion in Information and Technology Business. - Subject to approval of the Registrar of Companies, Mumbai and other Authority the name of the Company be changed from the existing name to CSL INFOTECH LIMITED, or any other suitable available name, in order to reflect the true nature of business of the Company. - The company is undertaking Computer software, infotech activities in Major ways as the present business activities are not much beneficial. 2000 - The Company Offer/issue/allotment upto 20,00,000 No. of equity shares of the company at a price not less than Rs 10/- per share. 2007 -Registered Office of the Company has been shifted From 9/16D, Fort Mansion, British Hotel Lane, Fort, Mumbai To 5A, Maker Bhavan No.2, Sir Vithaldas Thackersey Marg, New Marine Lines, Mumbai.2018-Company name has changed to Ugro Capital Ltd. from Chokhani Securities Ltd.2021-Ugro Capital signs co-lending agreement with Central Bank of India.-Ugro Capital launched `Pratham', a INR 1,000 Cr MSME Co-lending Program in partnership with Bank of Baroda.-Ugro Capital partners with SBM Bank India to launch `GRO Smart Business' credit card for MSMEs. 2024 -The Company has issued Bonus Shares in the Ratio of 1:4.
