Market Report- Sensex down 300 points, Nifty below 22,650

The benchmark indices were trading lower on April 06, 2026, as selling pressure was seen among index heavyweights. At 9.27 am, Sensex slipped by 0.42% or 317 points to 73,007. The Nifty dipped by 0.40% or 92 points to 22,625.

Rupee opened at 93/$ Vs. April 02 close of 93.10/$.
