Market Update- Sensex down 680 points, Nifty around 23,800

Indian equites were trading lower on September 02, with benchmark indices remaining under pressure amid broad-based selling. Weak global cues, rising crude oil prices, and cautious investor sentiment continued to weigh on the market. At 11.53 am, Sensex slipped by 1.01% or 688 points to 76,258. The Nifty dipped by 0.89% or 241 points to 23,817.
