Indian indices-

Indian equities finished the day on a high note on April 10, 2026, amid a broad rally led by financials, and firm global cues. Most of the sectoral indices ended in green except IT stocks. At close, the Sensex was up 918.60 points or 1.20% at 77,550.25. The Nifty was up 275.50 points or 1.16% at 24,050.60.

Rupee ended at 92.73/$ against April 09 close of 92.66/$.

1. Saatvik Green Energy Ltd rose 9.95% to Rs. 462.85, after company secured orders for solar modules from IPPS worth Rs. 109 cr.

2. Eicher Motors up 3.87% to Rs. 7,421.25, on eBike FlyingFlea launch.

3. Shriram Finance gained 3.09% to Rs. 1,027.15, after CRISIL upgrades long-term rating to 'Crisil AAA/Crisil PPMLD AAA/Stable'.

Global Signals-

Asia-Pacific markets rose amid worries over Strait of Hormuz staying closed.

Europe nudged higher as investors weighed the fragile ceasefire between the Us and Iran, and the potential for successful peace negotiations in Ukraine.
