Post Market Update- Markets close flat after early rally

Indian indices-

Indian equities ended on a flat note on June 10, after erasing early gains. The markets begin on a positive note, but sentiment weakened as investors turned cautious due to rising geopolitical tensions, weak global cues, and profit booking in key sectors. Among sectors, FMCG and private banking stocks outperformed, whereas all other major indices ended in the red. At close, the Sensex was up 64.42 points or 0.09% at 73,983.18, and the Nifty was down 27.15 points or 0.12% at 23,214.95.

Rupee ended at 95.27/$ Vs. Tuesday’s close of 95.35/$.

Buzzing stocks on BSE-

1. Afcons Infrastructure rose 4.45% to Rs. 329.80, on order won impact worth over Rs. 5,000 cr.

2. Concord Biotech gained 3.39% to Rs. 1,322.25, after bagging USFDA approval for $500 million drug.
